Beloved, the fire is calling us back to the First Circle. In a world of “burning ice”—where our technology-lit rooms are bright but our spirits remain cold—we gather to retrieve our evolutionary birthright.

This month, we invite you to Sacred Fire Embodied Storytelling, a sanctuary where we heal the “Great Severing” between our human nervous systems and the living body of the Earth. This is not a place of instruction, but of communion; embodiment here is not taught—it is remembered.

The Invitation
Around the living guest of the flame, your stories are welcomed in every form they wish to take: voiced, danced, sounded, or simply held in the “speaking silence” of presence. We hunt for the “Holy Sparks” (Nitzotzot) trapped within our memories and traumas, liberating them through the alchemy of shared witness.

A Safe Harbor for the Somatic Self
In this circle, stillness is optional. We honor the “humanimal” need to move, rock, sway, or stim.

The Freedom of the Gaze: Stare into the flames rather than the speaker. Around the fire, we connect through a “triangulated” intimacy that honors the unmasked self.

EcoRegulation: Let the sound of the waves and the warmth of the hearth co-regulate your system, shifting your brain from survival vigilance to social expansion.

Hashmal: We honor the rhythm of the “Speaking Silence”—the oscillation between the shared word and the felt sense.

Details of the Gathering

The Lighting: We begin with the Shin Protocol, syncing our breath to the birth of the fire through Audible Relaxed Exhalation.

The Flow: A journey through silent gazing, embodied sharing, and a final “Tikkun” movement jam to integrate our shadow selves.

The Smooring: We close by thanking Brother Fire for his service, carrying his warmth back into the modern world.

Beloved, your restlessness is welcome here. Your sparks are safe here. Simply telling the story and moving the body is enough to keep the hope alive.
