We invite you to join us for our weekly beach cleanups!
We provide safety materials such as gloves and bags to collect trash.
We will also sort the matter out of place into recycling and trash and dispose of it properly.
Please prepare for windy weather – this is the point where the land ends, and the winds have traveled far over the ocean and can be fierce. Layers are key, consider bringing a hat, a longer jacket, and warm socks.
We vary the beaches we tend to based on the tides and previous weather patterns, which affects where the trash gathers. In general, we tend to serve the beaches near Stinson, including Muir Beach, Red Rock Beach, Bolinas Beach, and occasionally the bay ‘beaches’ bordering Tomales Bay.
We tend to start our beach cleanup at least 90 minutes before sunset and often end as the sun has set, so consider bringing a headlamp.
